• Another important factor is heat. So provide proper shelter or else the plants can even burn in heat.
• Add additives to soil periodically so as to make the soil hold water as the desert soil is alkaline in nature.
• In desert landscaping irrigation plays a vital role. So when designing itself it is better to make some necessary arrangements for irrigation system also.
It is always better to do desert landscaping with the help of contractors as they are well experienced in it. Also you can get help from the local botanical museum or park to get information about plants that can survive in desert.
