Great Landscaping Pools Ideas

Do you wish to have a haven of meditation? Places where you can loosen the tension out a bit and feel your nerves relax? A place where you can cherish the beauty and have time for yourself? Yes! All of this is possible because where there’s a will there’s a way. The ingredients for the recipe are; creativity, individuality, loves for green and of course plenty of space in your house, where you have a pool. Landscaping pools, if done in the right manner can become bliss but if it goes vice versa than it’s a real mess.

When listening to the word “landscape” the first thing that strikes your mind is; plants! Plants of all shapes and sizes, from trees to shrubberies and vines, all of them make a fine landscape. While landscaping a functional pool you should be extremely meticulous about the plants you may choose. Fruit trees may seem to be an attractive option but they’re not a very good idea, as with trees bearing fruits around your pool, you’ll be stung by bees and insects often (which of course you don’t want to happen). Even flowering plants may look good but they are also bee-charmers.

Prefer to choose trees which are evergreen (not the pine tree but holy tree), and if not, then choose the ones who’s leaves do not overgrow and who fall once a year. Avoid trees with large roots, like Bunyan tree, as they can damage the pool. You cannot have everything around your pool, therefore, concentrate on having a few species of plants which are easy to manage and won’t destroy or damage the pool in anyway.

By adding plants around your pool, the privacy and safety factor would increase effectively, besides landscaping pools would bring you even closer to nature and the monotonous pool would be transformed into a heaven on earth.

Build a fence around your pool to give it the right look, not only that you can allow vines to grow on your fences to give it a more serene look. After the fence you can put up outdoor lights, so your pool is functional even at nights, where you can have family dinners and entertain guests at parties. Besides the entertainment factor, the lights will add to the security factor.

Therefore, you have countless opportunities and ways to landscape your pool. You can always build a patio around your pool to give it even a more beautiful look and patios also avoid slipping, but above all it is advisable to hire a trust worthy architect to have a look at your landscaping pool plan. In the end, three words, be practical, be creative and be technical.
